3/4 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2-14 oz. cans all natural chicken broth
1/4 cup water
1-15 oz. can great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1-4 oz. can diced green chiles
1 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
1 tbl cornstarch
In a large saucepan, cook turkey, onion and garlic until turkey is no longer pink.
Stir in chicken broth, beans, chiles, cumin and pepper.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 30 min-1 hour.
In a small bowl stir together water and cornstarch. When chili is done simmering, slowly incorporate cornstarch mixture into chili to thicken.
Serve with warm, crusty bread!
